🇦🇷 Introducing Re Dulce de Leche: an authentic Argentine recipe, rich, creamy, and unapologetically indulgent 🍯
The first dulce de leche to conquer the North Pole. Seriously ! 🇮🇸
What is dulce de leche?
While it shares some similarities with caramel, it’s not the same thing. Caramel is typically made by heating sugar with butter and cream, while the main ingredients in dulce de leche are milk and sugar. The slow cooking process of dulce de leche gives it a distinct flavor profile that is more milky and less intense or “burnt” than traditional caramel.
Dulce de leche is used in a variety of desserts and confections. It can be a filling for cakes and cookies (like the famous alfajores), a topping for ice cream and flan, a spread for toast or crepes, or simply eaten by the spoonful.
