Urta Islandica is a family business founded in January 2013. The aim of the company is to be sustainable and environmental friendly by limiting the use of plastic as much as possible, by packing the gourmet products in glass that can be returned to the company and in Natureflex, home-compostable material. The company is a part of Kolviður - The Iceland Carbon Fund (ICF) offers carbon offsets through tree planting.
